Come out and join us for the 6th annual Run for God - JFest 5K and 10K. Run for God, with major assistance from J103 (voted the best radio station in Chattanooga!), is once again hosting all runners and walkers at Camp Jordan on a flat and fast course. This year the race is in May when the weather is cooler! The races finish INSIDE the Camp Jordan Arena where the crowd noise echos off the walls and makes you feel like a rock star as you finish! Whether you are the first finisher or the last, you will enjoy the thrilling finale! After the race, you can hang around all day and enjoy a complimentary ticket (a $15 value) to the JFest concert hosting some of the biggest names in Christian music. It is a day you will not soon forget!
Because the race finishes indoors, you will have plenty of cool, dry restrooms to clean up and change clothes to prepare for the full day of festivities, and trust us, you'll want to stick around! Walkers are welcomed and encouraged to participate as well. With both 5K and 10K distances, there's something for everyone!

Why do we wait for the last person to finish before giving out awards?
We get this question often, and we understand that some of you fast runners may be waiting a while before getting your award. But here at Run for God, we have decided that EVERYONE should experience that magical finish line experience no matter what their time may be. For this reason, we hope that you will hang around and help us cheer every runner in, and be inspired by those who just a short time ago were saying “I can’t” and are now saying “I did”.
How are the proceeds used?
100% of the proceeds from our races are used in one of two ways. The first is to keep the day-to-day operations of Run for God moving. Our revenue comes from books, t-shirts, sponsors, and races. We made the decision early on not to seek private donations of any kind to support this ministry. Another direct result of our race proceeds is to fund a race that we started hosting in November called the “My Hope America 5K” This race is offered to 2000 middle and high school kids as well as their families in Dalton, GA (the home of Run for God). This race is completely free to all in the community and the primary focus is to share the gospel of Christ through the My Hope America video by Dr. Billy Graham. Every runner gets the complete experience, from the race, to the timing, and the t-shirts. Once the race is finished, everyone sits down to hear Billy Graham do what he does best, share the gospel with a lost and dying world.

52 Week Study - 464 Page Hardback
Run for God - Devotions isn't your ordinary Bible Study. No, it’s a study that is made up of stories from people just like you and me, real stories from real people. These thoughts and experiences are brought to you from Pastors, Deacons, Sunday School teachers, New Christians, Old Christians, and even Christians who had lost their way for a time. So if you’re looking for a study that shows what God can do through someone just like you and me, then you’ve definitely come to the right place.
Whether you’re a new runner, a seasoned runner, a fast runner, or a slow runner, this study is for you. Each week we’ll take you through inspiring stories, scripture, running tips and tricks, as well as challenge you with thought-provoking questions to ponder. There are also training plans in the back that will cover any distance you desire. Use this for your personal devotion or grab a group of friends and start a small group, either way, you can’t go wrong. Enjoy!
