As of 3/25/16 at 10:45am, we are sold out of all Color Run t-shirts. We have over 540 participants, and over 100 vounteers. We are excited to still accept registrations to participate in all run and festival events, but they will not include t-shirts. Thank you for your understanding - we are excited about the turnout for Saturday!
Welcome to the 2016 Second Annual Los Altos High School Color Run! This event is a key fundraiser for the Athletics Program at Los Altos High School. Currently, Associated Student Body (ASB) raises a considerable amount of money to fund different aspects of the LAHS Athletic Program. One goal of the LAHS Color Run is to complete fundraising in these areas: tournaments, referees, and supplemental hours for our athletic trainer.
It is also an important goal to bring the community together and share the LAHS campus. The Los Altos Athletic League (LAAL), and all LAHS athletes and coaches, will be part of the big event! Join us for a day of fun around campus with 5K runs, colored powder checkpoints, music, and other festivities!
Quick Info:

Community 5K Fun Run
This walk/run is available to everyone in the community, and is considered a "fun run." There will be no formally recorded running times kept, but prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. However, in the Community Run, you'll be running/walking with more space and fewer costumed runners. Families and run/walkers are also welcome, but dogs are not allowed. (Participants have the option of going around the Color Checkpoints if they'd like to avoid having colored powder thrown in their directions.)
Quad Festival & Kids' Races
Held in the LAHS Quad at the front of the school, here young participants (13 and under) will be able to enjoy an array of activities ranging from an egghunt to waterballoon throws, bounce house/slide, long jump competition, mini-bike and Boppy ball races, obstacle course, and facepainting. There will also be food and drink for additional purchase.
High School 5K Costume Run
This color run, held later in the evening, is primarily for high school students. Costumed runners/walkers are welcome, and the best costumes will be rewarded! (Participants have the option of going around the Color Checkpoints if they'd like to avoid having colored powder thrown in their directions.) There will be no formally recorded running times kept, but prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
