The Run for Rocky, is held annually in Windsor Ontario in April and is a run/walk event. Over $170,000 has been raised in the initial three years of this event. In partnership with the Windsor Pride, the Greater Essex County District School Board, St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology and the University of Windsor this event helps to support educational, diversity and anti-bullying programs in the Windsor/Essex County Community. Grant and scholarship programs are integral components of the Run for Rocky funding model which makes this initiative the ONLY program of its kind in Canada. This funding helps to support the area’s post-secondary school system’s Gay Straight Alliances or "GSA’s. The Campana Family, understood that the mandating of GSA’s was insignificant without proper funding. The funds brought in through the 2016 event will be used to support educational programs for both parent and our local youth at the school level ensuring that Gay Straight Alliances start at home and are maintained in supportive homes and accepting school environments. Each year before the run a full financial report is released so that the community at large, sponsors and partners are made aware of how funding has been spent and how this funding has had a positive effect in the community and beyond.

AFTER PARTY
SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD SIGN UP AS A TEAM. THE HIGH SCHOOL WHO HAS THE GREATEST NUMBER OF ATTENDEES (INCLUDES STUDENTS, STAFF & FAMILIES) WILL BE AWARDED A PIZZA PARTY LUNCHEON.
ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE INVITED BACK TO THE ST CLAIR CENTRE FOR THE ARTS FOR AN INEXPENSIVE PASTA DINNER & ENTERTAINMENT.
