My Story…
From grade 7 through adulthood, Rocky was my partner in crime and the star of some of my fondest memories. No one could tell a story, light up a dance floor, or make me howl with laughter quite like Rocky could. I miss him every day.
From the time we were kids, Rocky was committed to making life a little easier for and the world a little more accepting of LGBT youth. His death in 2012 inspired his incredible family to found the annual Run For Rocky. To date, the Run has raised more than $170,000 in support of gay straight alliances, youth-in-crisis programs, referral services, mental health awareness initiatives, and mentorship opportunities for LGBT youth in our hometown of Windsor-Essex.
Every year, my family raises money in memory of a true friend who brought us so many laughs. Your support is so very appreciated!
