Frostbite 5 Miler

Lakeshore Runners and Run Nova Scotia presents:

The Frostbite 5 Miler

Loop course with rolling hills around First Lake – All proceeds go to a local community group.

Awards: Certificates will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing male & female. Draw prizes too!

The Frostbite 5 Miler will be timed by Atlantic Chip.

Reception: Baked Beans, coffee, tea, donuts, bananas and juice will be provided to registrants after the run.

Parking: Parking is available at Sackville High School, 1 King Fisher Way,, (Kingfisher Way will be closed from 11:35am – 2pm) and Sobeys 70 First Lake Drive.

Start Line :. The start line for the race is located on Kingfisher Way, adjacent to the Sackville High School.

Race bib pick up: Race bibs can be picked up on Sunday February 21st, from 10:00 am – to 11:30 am for walkers and to 11:45 am for runners in the Sackville High School cafeteria, 1 Kingfisher Way, Lower Sackville, NS

Donations for Beacon House: We are collecting donations in support of Beacon House so please bring food and/or personal hygiene items for donation! For example, the Beacon House has placed the following items on their Nov 2015 most needed list: Canned Evaporated Milk, Boxed Cerals, Pasta Sauce, Kraft Dinner, Canned Kernel Corm, Canned Flakes of Ham, Canned Tunna, Canned Fruit, Canned Baked Beans, Canned Diced Tomatoes. They also need hygiene items such as Diapers, Baby Wipes, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes and deodorant

Our goal is to fill the Harvard Auto Sales Beacon House Food Drive van!!! The van will be parked outside the Sackville High School, 1 Kingfisher Way, Lower Sackville, NS (look for the white van).

Post-race food: Post-race beans, bread, water, coffee and snacks will be available at 1pm in the Sackville High School, 1 Kingfisher Way, Lower Sackville, NS, Lower Sackville. We have also invited organizers from a number of upcoming running events to be a part of the Post race event to answer any questions you may have
