Music is the universal language of mankind. Longfellow On Saturday, May 7, 2016, I will participate in the 34th annual Marin Human Race. I am asking my friends and family to sponsor me in this effort by giving $5, $10, $20, $50 The Mayflower Chorus has been a diamond in the Marin community's musical crown for over 35 years, and we have been fortunate to share our melodic slice of the Bay Area in several world-wide destinations during that time and in May we will visit Cuba. The Mayflower Choral Society/Chorus supports the local community in several ways; it supports music education through its annual scholarship program,, small groups provide music to local assisted living and skilled nursing facilities and the chorus has provided the opportunity for those less fortunate to experience the power of music through the Marin Center Friends of Marin program.
