My Story…
On Saturday May 7th I will be walking in the Bay Area Human Race. My goal is to raise $1,000 to support Marin Advocates for Children (MAC) and at the same time to raise awareness about child abuse in Marin County. At MAC we believe that one committed and caring adult can make an enormous difference in the future of an abused child. Our CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers prove that belief every day. Last year CASA volunteers advocated for 129 abused and neglected Marin County children. Many more are on a list waiting for their own CASA. The funds I raise will help MAC recruit and train additional CASA volunteers.
