My Story…
Jessica and Agent X are raising money for LITA which matches seniors with volunteers in Marin County's long-term care facilities. 60% of the elderly living in care facilities have no family or friends that visit.
LITA's programs include One-to-One Friends which matches volunteers with residents for weekly visits, the PET Connection program involves volunteers' special pets as part of their weekly visits and the Bridging Generations program matches seniors with elementary school children on a monthly basis and is very popular. Animals, children and music are often the last emotional pathways to reach seniors with memory care issues. Jessica has been a board member for 4 years.
