I got involved with Marin County School Volunteers after learning about the incredible work the organization does to enrich student learning by recruiting, training and pairing volunteers with students in high-need Marin public schools. While we tend to think of Marin as very well off, the reality is that one in four students in Marin County public schools are living in poverty, and many schools are badly in need of vital teaching and tutoring resources. I would appreciate it if you would consider a pledge of support. Your donation will go directly to our mission by underwriting the cost of training and coordinating high quality volunteers. I greatly appreciate the quality of the education I received and my own children are receiving today, and I believe it is important to do what we can to ensure all kids are provided that same opportunity.
