Help Jeff raise money

I recently joined the board of Youth Leadership Institute (YLI), a long-standing Bay Area non-profit devoted to youth development. YLI was founded in Marin in 1991, and now operates offices in San Francisco, San Mateo and Fresno. The organization creates opportunities for primarily low-income youth to engage with and take leadership roles within their communities, largely through the development and advocacy of local and municipal policies aimed at improving those communities. As an example, a group of YLI youth recently drafted and helped pass an ordinance on the Peninsula prohibiting payday lending within their community. The organization serves a dual purpose of creating life-changing leadership opportunities for youth, while improving the lower-income communities in which they live. I am running on May 7th to raise money for the organization, and thereby the extent of their impact and reach.
