Our story…

CASA ALLEGRA is a small agency making a big difference for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. CASA ALLEGRA’s passion derives from our Executive Director, Chris Bonfiglio, who founded this tremendous organization alongside her colleague Eileen Falvey in 1975. At that time, people with disabilities had few civil rights and were supported in primarily large institutions. CASA ALLEGRA’s innovation pioneered Person Centered Focus, where each person we serve receives personalized support designed around his/her individual abilities. CASA ALLEGRA continues to break barriers to ensure each person is able to live meaningful lives by creating supports around community living, daytime activities, and employment opportunities. "Casa Allegra is a place of possibilities and not disabilities." -Anonymous To learn more, please visit www.CasaAllegra.Org Thank you so much for your support!
