Hi Friends & my Family, I am participating in the Scott & White BCS Half Marathon December 11, 2016 in College Station, Texas . This year I have the privilege of running with Team Mercy Project. The Mercy Project is a ministry that removes children from slavery in the fishing industry in Ghana, places them in a rehabilitation shelter where they are cared for and attend school then reunites them with their families. MP partners with the local village fishing master, teaching them new skills to cage fish sustainably, and they voluntarily release the children to MP. This is an amazing holistic approach.
