BURKE HEELS & WHEELS 5K

ROAD RACE & WALK

COME JOIN US FOR THIS GREAT EVENT!
The Heels & Wheels 5K Road Race & Walk is open to all, enabling walkers, runners and wheelchair athletes to compete together in a fun race!

We are happy to welcome runners, walkers, hand cyclists, wheel chair athletes and families to participate in our 5K event. The race will begin and end on the Burke campus.

AWARDS & CATEGORIES...

We will have 8 classes:

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Runner Male & Runner Female: 13-18, 19-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+
  • 1st, 2nd , 3rd Place Racing Chair Male & Racing Chair Female
  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Hand Cycle Male & Hand Cycle Female

We will have three races and prizes will be awarded for each category:

  • Ages 4 – 5: 100 yard dash
  • Ages 6 – 8: 1/4 mile run
  • Ages 9 – 12: 1/2 mile run
There will also be a Kids Fun Run for kids ages 4 - 12. Participants will receive a participation ribbon.
