Help Us Step Towards Literacy for All Adults in Dane County!
Join us in 2016 as we celebrate the Literacy Network's 25th Annual Run for Literacy! Follow us on Facebook by clicking here!
***NEW FUNDRAISING SHIRT AVAILABLE***
Upgrade your event shirt to a special edition, dri-fit t-shirt instantly when you raise $75 in pledges!Start by creating a fundraising page during registration and share with friends and family, or make the pledge yourself. Either way, this is a great way to show your support for the Literacy Network. Fundraising pages will remain active through November 2016. Note: A commitment to raise a minimum of $75 in pledges must be identified through RaceRoster by October 15, 2016 to receive dri-fit shirt at packet pick-up. After that date, individuals who commit to raising $75 on RaceRoster will receive the dri-fit shirt on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Your participation in this annual event raises money to provide educational resources to low-literate adults in Dane County who are seeking to improve their reading, writing, and English skills.
Join us as we walk, run and jog through downtown Madison and the UW-Madison campus with over 600 of our closest friends to help adults in Dane County gain literacy skills. Adults who join the Literacy Network's programs are achieving their goals of financial stability, improved employment, stronger relationships with the healthcare system, and the ability to support their children's education.
“I was not a good student as a child so I hope my children are better students than I was. I will be there to support them when they need it.” - Raina Dominquez
As a participant of the 25th Annual Run for Literacy, you will receive our signature long-sleeve t-shirt, chip-timed running course, and a special photo finish. We can't wait to see you there!
Interested in participating, but don't want to walk or run? We wouldn't be able to do this without our SUPER volunteers! To learn more about volunteering for this event, check out the "Volunteer" tab on the left side of this page.
