BLACK HAWK TRAIL HALF MARATHON AND 10K

The Black Hawk Trail Half Marathon and 10k presented by Hoka One One is not for the faint of heart, as they say. Both the half marathon and 10k courses see tons of climbing and lots of technical landscape. If you are a runner looking to challenge yourself, then you have come to the right place.

The event is held at Golden Gate Canyon State Park just outside of Black Hawk, CO and only 30 minutes West of downtown Denver. Golden Gate Canyon State Park supports over 35 miles of trails on over 12,000 acres, ranging in elevations from 7,600' to 10,400'. Runners will enjoy remarkable views across valleys, meadows, and mountain ranges.

Please note that there is limited parking at the event site, as we estimate there are only about 150 parking spaces within walking distance to the start/finish area, so please carpool with other runners. Shuttle service will be provided to and from the Gilpin County Fairgorunds if needed.

*Please note, there is limited access for Aid Stations along the courses, so please be prepared to bring you own hydration and nutrition.
