In Candler Park (different from last year) 1500 McLendon Avenue, Atlanta GA 30307 near intersection with Candler Park Dr. Friday, June 3, 2016 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. There will be registration and packet pick-up the morning of the race from 7:30am-8:30am too.

Join us for the annual race on Saturday, June 4th at 8:30am! Come kick off the Candler Park Music and Food Fest with a fun 5K and support a great cause, Atlanta Contact Point!

Fundraising

This event is in partnership with the Candler Park Music Fest and a fundraising event for Atlanta ContactPoint (ACP) is a Geor­gia 501©(3) non­profit orga­ni­za­tion estab­lished in 2012 to engage chil­dren and adults through the power of play.

Anyone who donates $25 or more will be eligble (6-11 year olds) to win a 1-week Summer Camp. 4 winners choosen! Details below:

Each day will consist of a wide variety of sports, activities, and free play. One day will be at Candler Park for field and court sports like soccer, kickball, football, hockey, basketball, and playground. One day will be at Piedmont Park for “wheeled adventures”, field sports, and playgrounds. This is the day for biking, skateboards, inline skates, scooters, etc…; as well as baseball, ultimate, soccer, and two playgrounds. One day will be at the ContactPoint, Druid Hills for gym sports and Dragon Goal soccer. One day will be at Blackburn Park (transportation provided) for a day of tree climbing with Tree Climbers International.

$175/week (Mon-Thur, 9:30-2:00) includes Tree Climbing Fee

We will have a Friday camp for an additional $40/day for those interested.

If you have the combo ticket Festival & 5K then we’ll have your festival ticket for you when you pick up on either Friday or Saturday. If you bought a ticket for someone other than you, we’ll have their name but not email.
