Join us at 7:00am on October 16, 2016 for the second running of the Nutrabolt Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 10K!

What if you could combine two amazing things you love….crossing a race finish line and Texas A&M football?!

Guess what…this year you can! The Nutrabolt Octoberfest Half Marathon and 10K will BOTH finish inside Kyle Field!

STUDENT CHALLENGE

Also for this year, we have added a fun new aspect to the Nutrabolt Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 10K: the Student Challenge! Groups of 4 students will be able to register together for the 10K race in hopes of winning and taking home a prize of $1000. All 4 runners on the team will independently run in the 10K race. The winning team will be the one with the fastest average finish time for all of its runners.

So, students, grab 3 of your friends and join us on October 16th for a shot at winning $1000!

Teams in the Student Challenge will be able to register at a flat fee for all 4 runners.

VIP PACKAGE

The first 25 Nutrabolt Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 10K runners who choose the VIP option, and make a $100 donation to our charities will be able to run the race as a VIP runner.
As a VIP Runner, you will receive:

VIP parking on race morning

Custom VIP race bib

Recognition as a VIP when you cross the finish line

Special VIP area with VIP bathrooms, tent with separate bag drop, tables and chairs, and massage therapists

To participate as a VIP Runner, simply select the VIP Package option in the “SWAG” section of your registration. The donation price will be added to your registration at checkout. REMEMBER...100% OF THESE PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO OUR CHARITIES!

Why should you run this race? For one, 99% of our runners have said the organization of our races is good or excellent and 96% have said the same about the value of those races. In fact, our other "big" race (the Baylor Scott & White BCS Marathon + Half Marathon) has been voted the best marathon in Texas for three years running. Those numbers don't lie.

Post race amenities will have an Oktoberfest flair with up to 10 local craft beers and the kind of post race feast our runners have come to expect. We will also have live music and plenty of space to lay out and rest, so plan to stay awhile.

Course Info

Aid Stations

Aid stations will be every 1.5 miles along the route and will include water, sports drink, and Cellucor Alpha Amino.

Course Time Limit

The course closes on a rolling schedule based on a 15:00 minute per mile pace for both the Half Marathon and 10K. The time limit for completing the Half Marathon is 3.5 hours.

Running Dogs, Strollers, and Bicycles are NOT allowed anywhere on the course!!!

Race Swag

We sat down with Title Sponsor Nutrabolt one day, and they asked us this question: "How could we work together to make this race an epic success right out of the gate?" We paused for .012 seconds and answered, "Swag. Just swag." Well, they listened.

New This Year!

Both Half Marathon AND 10K runners will be handed a custom finisher’s medal when they cross the finish line!

Finshers of both distances will receive a high-end, super soft and comfortable finisher’s shirt. This is the kind of finisher’s shirt you’re going to be able to wear every day and not just train in.

All finishers will also receive a custom beer stein at the finish line. You will use this beer stein when you choose between up to 10(!) different craft beers we will have on site – and then you’ll get to take it home with you.

But that’s not all…

Half Marathon runners will also be given a full size beach towel with the race logo printed across it!

Every runner will have the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishment at the post-race party immediately after crossing the finish line! You can expect a food and beer spread that beats any large marathon in Texas!
