Spring into Action 5KM Run or Walk is a family friendly event that will be held on March 26th starting at 2pm at the Country Hills Community Centre in Kitchener. There will be two different events, a 5km Run/Walk, as well as a 1km Easter Egg Run for Kids.
Join us for the first trail run of the season and help celebrate the beginning the spring all while supporting Kidsability. Part of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Kidsability.

Registration Details
There will be no registration the day of the event. Registration will be closed on March 25rd at 11:59pm. All registration fees are non refundable and non transferable. This event is rain or shine. The run will not be rescheduled.
If you are particpating in the 5KM race and would be like to run in the 1KM Easter Egg Hunt with your kids, you do not have to register also for the 1KM Race. However if you are only partipcating in the 1KM Easter Egg Hunt everyone will need to register for that specific event.
Location
Country Hills Community Centre will be our staging ground for this exciting new running event. Event Kit Pickup will take place in the Community Centre starting at 1:30pm. We will be offering a bag drop and there are change rooms available inside the centre.
Post Race Refreshments will start promptly at 2:30pm and will also be located inside the centre. There is ample parking located at the Country Hills Community Centre in two different lots. If the primary lot is full please follow the signs to the centre's secondary lot.
Children Participants
We are a family friendly event! However no one younger than 6 years old will be allowed to run in the 5KM event. For the 5KM event we ask that all children aged 6-11 have a adult chaperone at all times. Children 12 years and above will be allowed to participate without a parent or adult present but our waiver must be signed by a parental guardian. Though really the best fun is running as a family!
Our 1KM Easter Egg Hunt Run is open to ages 12 and under. Children particpating in the Easter Egg Hunt must have a adult chaperone.
Kidsability
This event will be donating part of the proceeds made to Kidsability. We are also encouraging all participants to ask for pledges for their run from friends and family members.
