Run in two provinces in one race! New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. We have decided to keep the course change of 2015. The course is closed to traffic on paved roads with a hard packed dirt road crossing the marsh, and 100 volunteers to support you.
There are finishers medals and tech t-shirts.
Runners and walkers welcome on the 5k and 10k and runners in the 1/2 marathon.
We have free child care provided by the Cumberland YMCA, lots of showers and locker rooms at the Amherst Stadium, shelters and porta-potties at the start line, more porta-potties and five first aid stations on the course, and food at the finish.
We have trophies for the top 3 M/F overall and 1st place in each age group in the 10k and the half marathon.
Kit pick up is from 4PM FRIDAY until 7.00 PM at the Amherst Stadium and on Saturday from 6;00 AM to 8:00AM. Bus transportation to the start line is at the Amherst Stadium, 185 Church Street, Amherst.
The net proceeds go to support The Cumberland YMCA and community projects.
