The Edmonton Pride Run & Walk was established in 2015 with the following goals:
- To promote and highlight the diversity of the Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Trans identified-Two Spirit-Queer (LGBTQ+) community and its allies.
- To create an inclusive running event where everyone is welcome and diversity is celebrated.
- To promote and increase access to fitness within the LGBTQ+ community.
- To raise funds in support of educational opportunities for LGBTQ+ individuals.
This event is truly for everyone. Whether you are an advanced runner or just want to enjoy a leisurely walk in the river valley with family or friends, we want you to participate!
