COME RUN WITH THE LONGHORNS!
Longhorn Stampede Run/Walk - a 5K event through neighborhood of the Cambrian area. Whether you are a casual jogger or a distance runner looking to expand your schedule of races, come join your community on a trek through this Cambrian neighborhood in the 4th Annual Longhorn Stampede Run/Walk. AVAC’s Certified Personal Trainer, Jon Cebula, will present a dynamic, full-body warm-up just prior to race start. This family friendly event is being held Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 9:00am. The Longhorn Stampede 5K will benefit Performing Arts, Sports, & Spirit programs at Leigh High School and is a great opportunity for kids, families, friends, and businesses to get together and build strong healthy communities. But sign up now! The Longhorn Stampede 5K Run/Walk is limited to the first 1500 participants! T-shirts for those who register by April 30.

2016 details
All booster clubs at Leigh, including Performing Arts Parent Association, Sports Boosters, Spirit Boosters and Home & School Club have joined forces to put together this fun filled 5k neighborhood Run/Walk. This event will benefit all of Leighʼs 1700 students as well as up to 10 other public middle and elementary schools (through an affiliate registration program) ‐ totaling about 3,000 families in the area.
Awards:
Top three male and female finishers overall as well as the following 15 age divisions (male & female) will receive awards:
- 5th grade and under
- 6th grade
- 7th grade
- 8th grade
- 9th grade
- 10th grade
- 11th grade
- 12th grade
- 18-20
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60-69
- 70+
Registration fees:
Adults: $25 by Feb 29, $35 by Apr 25, $40 by May 21, $50 race day
Youth: $15 by Feb 29, $20 by Apr 25, $25 by May 21, $35 race day
Groups: If you register 10 or more people together, each will receive a $5 discount*

6 to 8pm — Pasta Feed at Leigh High School
Participants who pick up their race packets on these dates will be entered into a drawing for gift certificates from local businesses.
