Event Info

10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk, 2.5K Kids, 2.5K Walk

It's a fun event everyone will enjoy it. Come and participate and help raise money for a great cause!

LOCATION

Race Start & Finish line on Charlotte St.. The road will be closed for the event and the festivities afterwards. Enjoy a fun Saturday night festival downtown! Parking available for FREE in the King St. Parking Lot.

RACES & FEES

10K Run Mar. 1st - Aug. 19th $40, Aug. 20th - Sept. 10th $45

5K Run Mar. 1st - Aug. 19th $30 , Aug. 20th - Sept. 10th $35

5K Walk Mar. 1st - Aug. 19th $30, Aug. 20th - Sept. 10th $35

2.5K Kids Mar. 1st - Aug. 19th $15, Aug 20th - Sept. 10th $20

2.5K Walk Mar. 1st - Aug. 19th $15, Aug 20th - Sept. 10th $20


START TIMES

All races, start at 5:45pm.

AWARDS

Awards will be given out to the top 3 male and female (5k & 10k Run).

Awards Will be Presented to the Following Age Groups (5k & 10k Run):

  • >19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

In addition, there will also be awards for:

  • Best Team Spirit & Best Costume!

TIMING

SplitsTiming will provide chip timing for each lap (2.5k). Results will be available on sight and online at www.splitstiming.com

Can be picked up at Runner`s Life 174 Charlotte St. starting at 1:00pm - 5:30pm Sunday Sept 10th.

Day of Registration at Runner`s Life also from 1:00pm to 5:30pm.



Charity's

CMHAHKPR (Canadian Mental Health Association Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge)

90% of the proceeds will go to CMHAHKPR

10% of thep proceeds will go to Yes Shelter For Youth & Families

100% of the proceeds stay local.


OTHER QUESTIONS

Can I run with my child and then keep going...

YES! You can. The kids race starts at the same time so it is possible to run with them for the first loop then carry on. Kids do one loop of the course.


What time should I be there...

Get there EARLY! You want to park, pick up your race kit if you havent already. You will need to grab your timing chip. You will want to warm up, socialize a bit and time goes by very quickly!


Where can I put my stuff when I run...


Best to leave any valuables in your car. Parking is close, the King St garage (which is free) so if you do have to retrieve anything after you run, its close by. There will also be a baggage check on site.
