This event benefits the Elk Grove Food Bank Services
and is our largest monetary Fundraiser
The event includes 5K and 10K courses that start in beautiful Elk Grove Regional Park and includes the surrounding neighborhoods. For kids 12 and under we offer half mile and quarter mile fun runs.
The run features disposable chip timing for the 5K/10K race, age group awards, highest fundraising individual award, highest fundraising team award, race shirts for all participants, flat course and post run food and entertainment.

Run Proceeds from the EGRun4Hunger benefit the Elk Grove Food Bank Services
Run Proceeds from the EGRun4Hunger benefit the Elk Grove Food Bank Services, a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating hunger, developing programs to build client self-sufficiency, and provide an opportunity for volunteerism.
A portion of the proceeds from this run will also go towards Elk Grove HART (Homeless Assistance Resource Team), a nonprofit organization that assists the homeless in Elk Grove toward self-sufficiency and greater independence.
The work of EGFBS benefits over 4,500 individuals from the Elk Grove area every month.

Course
Flat, fast course starting and finishing under the majestic old oak trees in beautiful Elk Grove Regional Park. Click the map to the right for a larger view.
Age Divisions: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 +
Awards: Special awards for overall female and male winners in 5k and 10k.
Age division awards presented to the top 3 in each age group.
Amenities: Fast courses, custom t-shirt, live music, food, beverages, awards, and Chip Timing.
Event Rules: Baby strollers and dogs on leash with well-behaved owners are welcome.
Parking: Plenty of parking at the park (Elk Grove Regional Park).
