10th Annual Trail Run at the Conroe Family YMCA
Presented by Conroe’s Incredible Pizza
Enjoy a run through the scenic, wooded trails of Conroe Family YMCA’s Camp Owen and the excitement of running on an unpaved course. This race is designed for all ages and skill levels. All proceeds benefit the Conroe Family YMCA Annual Campaign.
Your participation helps to ensure local Y programs will continue to set your community members on the path to success.

About the Run
The course is mostly unpaved, and winds through the wooded trails of the Conroe Family YMCA. Participants will receive a chipped race bib and receive timed results. All finishers will receive an award, and participants who register by April 15th are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
Packet pick-up will be at the Conroe Family YMCA from 4-7pm on May 20th and on race day.

7:30 pm 5 K Run begins
9:00 am Kids 1-mile begins
9:30 am Awards Ceremony
Join us after the race for Healthy Kids Day at the Conroe Family YMCA from 10 am – 1 pm. Healthy Kids Day includes a camp showcase, giving families the chance to experience YMCA camp activities like archery and horseback riding for free.
Results
Race results will be posted at the event site on race day and will be posted at www.ymcahouston.org/trail-run

All proceeds benefit the Conroe Family YMCA Annual Campaign. Your participation helps to ensure programs offered by the Conroe Family YMCA, like our Leap of Faith equine assisted therapy program, will continue to set your community members on the path to success.
Who did our Annual Campaign support in 2015?
- 357 people learned a life-saving skill through Swim Lessons and Water Safety programs.
- 842 kids expanded their learning and confidence in After School, Day Camp and Teen Programs.
- 3,680 kids and families improved their wellbeing through programs like Youth Sports, Dance, Karate and Y Membership.
- 76 people with disabilities benefitted from the physical, mental and social support of the Conroe Family YMCA’s equine adaptive riding program, Leap of Faith.

Event Details
Due to the large amounts of rain Conroe has received in the last month, we are forced to cancel our event this year. Our entire course is underwater making it unsafe for our runners to travel.
