Year Up Greater Atlanta is a one-year, intensive training program that provides low-income young adults in the Atlanta area, ages 18-24, with a combination of hands-on skill development, college credits, and corporate internships. I have been involved for five years now helping mentor, teach classes, raise funds and connect corporate internships. This organization has a greater impact on the lives of at-risk but high potential youth than any other group I have ever seen.
