Athletes In Kind continues it's tradition of hosting athletic events to support families struggling financially while their child is in cancer treatment.
This charity event keeps the BIG RACE look with a SMALL TOWN feel from Canada Day. Now you can RUN FAST in October and help families at the same time.
Choose the 5k or 10k distances. Both are scenic and fast. Part trail, part road, all fun.
Under 12yrs "OktoberFUN run" for the kids around the village.
Each finisher receives a custom pint glass from Foamers' Folly Brewing Co. (The kids recieve a Foamers' Sampler glass)
Yes there is beer for that glass!
Bring it to the Post Race Party at Foamers' Folly for your first fill free!
The BBQ will be going with all the proceeds to Athletes In Kind. Yes, bring the kids, they get a free kids drink with their glass.
*Race day registration is $50 for the 5 & 10k, $15 for the Kids.

All proceeds from sales and event regisrtaions go to the BC Childhood Cancer Parents Association.
You can help families even more by pledging a participant.
We have special prizing for the participant that raises the most pledges online by Friday, September 30th, 11:59pm (closing of online registration)
Awards and Prizes
Thanks to Foamers' Folly Brewing we will have finishers souvinirs for both distances.
SOLE Experience Running will provide a top age group award from 15 and under through 70 in both the 5K & 10K in addition to many great draw prizes.
The annual Jan Saunders Memorial Award will also be presented on race day. It is Athletes In Kind's most prestigious award recognizing an individual's outstanding contibution from categories such as Volunteerism, Fundraising and Mentorship.

Package Pickup on Race Day
Race Package Pick Up is on race morning at the Start/ Finish area. Early pick up is on Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Sole Experience Running (excluding your timing chip)
On race morning you will receive your race number, timing chip, souvenir and more.
The 5K & 10K Start & Finish in Osprey Village on Barnston View Road in Osprey Village.
Access from Bonson Road, Fraser Way or the parking lot behind the South Bonson Community Centre.
Washrooms availible within the Community Centre.
