Chip-timed 5K or 1 Mile run at beautiful Wilderness Park/Trout Creek. The "Buddy Dash" will be held before the Fun Run for runners with special needs and their Buddies. The Buddy Run is put on by Congregation Beth Am and benefits....
Buddy Baseball is a non-competitive recreational league for boys and girls with special needs. Each player is paired with a “Buddy” to assist the player as needed. The league fosters friendships and breaks down barriers. Buddy Baseball is an opportunity like no other for children with special needs. Not only do the players experience the thrill of participating, they also get to experience team play and camaraderie.

Packet Pick Up and Check In
Advance packet pick up will be held on Saturday 11/5 at FITniche from 4 - 6 pm at their Wiregrass Mall location (28139 Paseo Drive, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543)
Same day registration and packet pick up will open at 7 am on Sunday 11/6 at Wilderness Park - Trout Creek (12550 Morris Bridge Road, Thonotosassa, FL 33592)

Training Program
Our FREE 5K training program starts on Sunday, September 11, 2016. 8:00 am to 9:00 am
Train to run (at your own pace) the Buddy Run 5K with a Certified Running Coach. This FREE 8-week training program meets on Sunday mornings for 1 hour at the 18205 Bruce B. Downs entrance to Flatwoods Park in New Tampa. All ages and abilities welcome. Participants stretch and receive tips and training for a gradual walk-to-run program that prepares participants to complete the Buddy Run 5K. - Inclusion in Press Releases – To the best of our ability, we will try to get your name out there in newspapers and other media serving the Tampa Bay community.
- Logo/Name on Print Material – Your logo or name will be printed on flyers, registration forms, etc. Subject to timing and space availability in some instances.
- Logo/Name on T-Shirt – Each runner and volunteer will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Your logo or name will be placed on the T-shirt.
- Free Event Entries – Free race entries will be awarded to sponsors. We can also assist in matching the free entries with needy runners.
- Facebook “likes” – The Buddy Run Facebook page will “like” your page to help broaden your social media reach. Please reciprocate!
- Goody Bag Opportunities – Each participant will receive a “goody bag”. This provides the opportunity for your business/organization to get specific promotional material directly to the consumer.
- Announcer Mentions – Our emcee, Russell Rhodes of Fox 13's Good Day Tampa Bay, will highlight your business/organization by mentioning and thanking your group on the day of the event.
- Booth Opportunities – You will have the opportunity to set up a booth at the event site and promote your business/organization. Selling of merchandise will require a one day vendor permit from the Hillsborough County Parks Department. Set up a booth and get 2 Buddy Run tech shirts!
- Course Signs – You will get a number of signs placed along the course route with your logo or name prominently displayed.
