Kingwood 5K Fun Run & 1 Mile Kid Run

Join us for the 1st Annual Kingwood 5K Fun Run and 1 Mile Kid Run

The event will take place on October 22nd, 2016 starting and ending at Creekwood Middle School in Kingwood, TX. The race is designed for runners, walkers, and kids. We invite you to gather your friends, family, and coworkers to join us on this fun and shaded route that takes place on the Bear Branch Green Belt Trails.

Come out for a fun, family and community oriented event created just for you!

The 1 Mile Kid run will start at 8:00AM and will be followed by an 8:30AM start time for the 5K. This race will be chipped timed. All participants will receive a race bag, race t-shirt (if registered by October 9th), and post race refreshments. Kids under 12 who participate in the 1 mile kid run will receive a finishers medal.

Why participate in this event? It was made with you in mind! We've found a fun and shaded route that's suited for your first 5K or for any seasoned runner. Plus, all race proceeds benefit Young Life Houston Northeast in Kingwood, a local non-profit dedicated to introducing adolescents to Christ and helping them grow in their faith.

Participants must register before October 9th to receive a race t-shirt. Any registerants after October 9th are not gauranteed a t-shirt.

In the case of bad weather, event will not be rescheduled and refunds will not be issued.
