7th Annual Stepping Towards the Cure 5K Run/Walk
Seven years and counting! Help us continue this amazing journey that began with being the first 5K dedicated to raising awareness of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). This family friendly event held in both Northern and Southern California raises funds to benefit the Triple Step Community Resource Program, which assists women diagnosed with TNBC in their transition from patients to survivors. So please join us (and bring yourfriends!) for an exciting day of fitness, food, and fun as we 'Step Out' to support communities affected by this disease.
Stepping Towards the Cure Virtual 5K Run/Walk
We really would like everyone to be a part of the fun. However, we realize that many of you are unable to make it to either of our two California locations. So we decided to bring the party to YOU with the addition of our Stepping Towards the Cure Virtual 5K Run/Walk!
That's right. Step at home. Wherever you are in the States or the world for that matter...you can still be a part of this special event. Simply register for either of the two 5K dates - October 2nd or October 22nd. Then choose your 5K route and walk or run with us in spirit on that date. Bring along a few friends or organize your entire neighborhood to Step Out with you. And don't forget...running on the treadmill in the gym counts too!
Once you have finished, post a photo(s) of you with your bib number to Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram so that we can see all the beautiful places where folks are running and walking. Be sure to post photos using the event hashtags #TripleStep4Cure #TripleStep5K #Stepping2TheCure #StampOutTNBC and #STC2016. Virtural participants will receive an official Walk T-shirt once we receive confirmation of your participation.
