The Ride & Service
The Memorial Ride is 34.3km (22 mile) at a slow pace. We will head east out Las Olas and up A1A North, then return to the museum.
The 9/11 Memorial Service will include Honor Guard • Mounted Police • Historic & Modern Fire Trucks • Bag Pipes and Guest Speakers

How the Ride Got Started
COMMITTED TO RIDING 343 MILES IN 7 DAYS
John Stone served as both an Army Soldier and Local Firefighter and while stationed at the Pentagon on 9/11. John committed to riding 343 miles in honor of the fighters lost on 9/11 with Sept 11th being the last day of the ride and being 34.3km long. As others heard of his plan, they asked to join and asked that he spread the word.
