To provide quality, affordable mental health services to individuals and families who don’t have the resources to pay full fees for professional help. Through our work, CIP helps individuals, heals families, and strengthens our community. CIP serves low-income, at-risk families, adults, and children in need of mental health care. Our services directly address the problems that lead to broken families, domestic violence, delinquency, substance abuse, poverty and homelessness — problems that take a higher toll on county resources in emergency medical, welfare, criminal justice and other public services. In 2015, 62% of clients had monthly household incomes under $1,200, and 26% had monthly household incomes between $1,200 and $3,300. Many are unemployed or underemployed. P.S.
