My Story…

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in August of 2016. Ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer deaths among women in the United States and the deadliest of all gynecologic cancers. Pap Smears do NOT detect ovarian cancer – there is no screening test. The five-year survival rate for women with ovarian cancer is just 45.6%. With your support, we can help save women’s lives by education, early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer. Teal is the ovarian cancer awareness color. TEAL-Take Early Action and Live.
