THE PARTNERSHIP
The Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre and the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Centre are proud to be the receipents of the 2017 Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off! Both CASASC and CACAC realized that they had a common goal and a passion to meet the needs of children. The services already provided at CASASC would be of benefit to the new Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre. This prompted the dream of having both agencies housed under one roof. To draw on the talents of each other to better meet the needs of children and youth who have been affected by primary trauma.

THE DREAM...

Creating an integrative collobrative approach that would help children who were suffering from abuse and mental health concerns. This dream would allow children to have access to all services in one place. Children would have wrap around care that would include but are not limited to RCMP, Crown Prosecution, Mental Health, Child and Family Services, Doctor's, Nurses, and specialized child therapy. The model would be based off the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre in Calgary, Alberta.

BECOMING A REALITY

It is through your generous pledges to our Celebrity Dancer's that this dream will become a reality. The funds raised at this community event will help to build this new home where children and youth in our community will have access to all services housed under one roof.

***Please note all funds are being raised through the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Centre but are designated to fund the home of both the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre and the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Centre.***
