The Healthy Running Conference is now in a single location for 2017 in San Luis Obispo, CA presented by Race SLO and the City of San Luis Obispo. This conference expands on the Healthy Running Course material and covers advanced running form, strength training, range of motion, aerobic development, motor skill development, injury assessment and treatment, and running shoe prescription. Content is evidence based with numerous case scenarios and hands-on analysis to apply concepts learned.
The 2017 Healthy Running Conference takes place in San Luis Obispo on California's beautiful Central Coast centrally located half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. With abundant, warm sunshine and during the SLO Marathon + Half week of events, this is the ideal place to dive deep into the sport.
4-Day conference attendees will also gain entry into their choice of the SLO Marathon (April 30), Half Marathon (April 30), 5K (April 29) or put their skills to work as a valued member of the volunteer corps (April 29-30). To learn more visit www.slomarathon.com.

Who Is This Conference For?
The Healthy Running Conference provides continuing education for primary care physicians, sports medicine physicians, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical therapists, athletic trainers, coaches, and runners interested in maintaining and promoting the health of runners. The conference is open to the public.

Continuing Education Credit
The WVU School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The two day Healthy Running course provides 15 hours Cat 1 AMA CME.
You may able to receive continuing education credit from your assoication. Please check with them directly.

Confirmation and Cancellation
Upon receipt of registration and payment, you will receive an email confirmation.
Registration fees will be refunded (less a $50 administrative fee) for cancellations received a minimum of 30 days prior to the activity date. Refunds will not be processed within 30 days, however credit to future conferences may be granted.
Healthy Running reserves the right to cancel courses if necessary. In this case, Healthy Running will provide participants a full refund of conference fees. All other expenses incurred, including but not limited to, personal travel & lodging, associated with this course activity are the sole responsibility of the participant. We suggest you consider purchasing travel insurance.
