The Port Hood Triathlon takes place in a beautiful little community, with breathtaking scenery, within our village as well as all along the race route.
TD Port Hood Triathlon is located on the beautiful west coast of Cape Breton Island, and the capital of Inverness County. Port hood is a vibrant, seaside community approximately 30 minutes north from the Canso Causeway.
Our wonderful volunteers have been hosting Triathlons for over 25 years. We are happy to be back on the circuit this year. Our course is beautiiful with some rolling hills, a short but challenging climb on the run and not to mention we have the warmest water in Atlantic Canada. Our ocean's approximate temperature ranges from 18-21 degrees.
We have the warmest hospitality that will be providing a delicious meal during the presentation of the awards.
Registration closing date will be the Saturday, August 12th during the race package pick up times.

This event is sanctioned by Triathlon Nova Scotia, therefore you, the registered participant, and the event Race Director are covered by insurance. This event is part of the TNS race point series for 2017.

Kit Pick-up and Race-Day Registration
Registration and kit pickup is on Saturday August 12th 4:00PM to 7:00PM at
the AL MacInnis Sports Centre, 45 Wharf Rd. Port Hood. And on Sunday August 13th
6:00AM to 8:30AM at the Al MacInnis Sports Centre, 45 Wharf Rd. Port Hood.
For all budding Triathlete we have a Kids Of Steel on August 12, 2017.

However, this year there will be other events in the area, so make sure to book early if you're planning on staying overnight.
