Our story…
Please consider joining team Helen's Hope or donating to one of our team members to raise money for Ovarian Cancer in honor of Helen Gill. Helen was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2011 and fought HARD before passing away on September 9, 2014. Helen thought she had a kidney infection and was persistent in seeing her doctor when her back pain was not improving. A CT scan revealed a tumor behind her kidney-the cancer had already metasticized and she was diagnosed with Stage III C Ovarian Cancer and went through continuous chemotherapy and radiation for three years. She never gave up HOPE and was an inspiration to all who met her.
