Help us raise money

For participating in Teal Trot 5K

Our story…

In 2014, our mother, Jamie Delaney, passed away from ovarian cancer. This year we and some of our friends will be running the Teal Trot in Georgia to raise money for the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance. The GOCA provides support to ovarian cancer patients, educates student health care providers, and increase awareness about ovarian cancer. Early identification of ovarian cancer is currently the best treatment available. Sadly, our mom sought care for 2-3 months before a doctor finally performed the necessary tests. In that time, the cancer spread to other organs in her body and did not respond to treatment. Our hope is that if more health care providers and women know the signs, women can get treatment sooner. Please help us to raise money in memory of our mom, so that other women and their families can get the care and support they need earlier.
