Our friend John Landreville, is currently battling stage 5 chronic kidney disease. Society spends so much time focusing on cures for cancer and heart disease - kidney disease is often overlooked. He is on dialysis every day just to keep his body in balance. Something we all take for granted. The Alive to Strive Race is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of kidney disease and educate the public about kidney health. It provides a fun and supportive opportunity for those living with kidney disease and anyone else, no matter what their fitness level, to train and reach their fitness goals.
