XTERRA Sleeping Giant is worth the journey!
The swim will be in a clean and clear spring fed Marie Louise Lake. From there you enter into the contrast between the beauty and the beast. Beauty belongs to the undulating, predominately single grassy mountain bike trail. Intended to be fast and non-technical, it will provide ample opportunity for passing. Beast, however, belongs to the more technical yet beautiful trail run. Running through forest canopies, over creeks and providing views of the Lake Superior, one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world. This course has everything you would come to expect when racing in Ontario's remote wilderness.
