Yeti Trail Half

Here are a FYI's for the Yeti Half on Sunday

-The race start at Bluhm County Park 3855 S 1100 W, Westville, Indiana 46391

-Online sign ups close at 5pm tomorrow (Friday)

-Race day sign ups begin at 7:30 am

-Race day sign-up fees will be $50 cash or check I have only 50 mugs for the runners and we current have 40 runners sign ups. So if you sign up race day it is first come first serve on the mugs.

-Race start is at 8 am Central Time (please note for those coming from Eastern Time Zone)

-Course should be in great shape and you will have one creek crossing each loop. Currently with the weather being warm it will be more a mud crossing then water. You will be running 3 loops each loop of about 4.4-4.5 miles in length. I tried to develop the course so you are close to 13.1 miles as possible. As with trail runs your GPS could register a little over 13.1 and these are “BONUS” tenths of mile. You will not be charged for those because that is my gift to you because you are wonderful. There will be orange flags, signs and yellow caution tape will be up to block part of the trail not to enter.

-There is one aid station located in the outdoor shelter that you will pass each lap. We will have cookies, Gatorade, Huma gels, bagels, water, fruits snacks and granola bars. If you need something that is not provided please bring it as you will pass your car as well each loop.

-Awards will be given as people finish so you did not have to wait around for your award. Homemade finish medal and gift certificate for money off future Crazy Legs Race Series events will be given to top three in each age group and overall female/male.

-Temperatures look to be very nice in 40-50’s

-Please wear your bib number in the front so I can see it. That bib number is connected to you so do not switch numbers with your Spouse or friend. We do old school timing after you finish you will receive a stick. This stick represents your overall placing in the race please turn it in ASAP

-Official finishing times will be posted on the web site www.crazylegsraceseries.info
