Chasing Away Winter 5K

The course starts & finishes at Lumpkin County High School, then follows a back road to Clamp Glisten. Once in the camp you'll follow the camp road through the grounds and past beautiful Cane Creek Falls.

Custom awards to the Overall Male & Female as well as the Masters Male & Female, and in 5 year age groups starting at 10 & under and going through 75 +. Long Sleeve Race shirts & sizes are guaranteed to all 5K participants registered by Feb. 19 All registrations afterwards will receive a shirt while supplies last.

Cash Award Prizes for overall 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place: $100, $50, & $25 respectively. Also, upon registration your name will automatically be entered in a drawing for: 1 Year Atlanta Zoo Membership for a family; Smoking Gold BBQ Gift Cert, Jolie Day Spa & Salon Gift cert. just to name a few!

Follow GA-400 North until you reach US-19/GA-60. Take a left onto US-19/GA-60 and follow it for approximately 6 miles. Continue to follow US-19 N/S Chestatee St. Turn right onto Martin St. Take 3rd Left onto S. Grove St/GA 60 for approx. 1.9 miles. Turn left onto Indian Drive @ Lumpkin County High School. There will be signs directing traffic and parking.

All participants receive Free entry into the Five Star Turkey Trot. Top finishers will also earn a qualifying spot in the Five Star 5K Championships. See www.fivestarntp.com for full details.

Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

All registrations are final...no refunds, transfers, or deferments.
