Dear Friends, On May 7, the Outpatient Neuropsychology BRAINIACS will be participating in the Heels & Wheels 5K Road Race. For three decades, I have dedicated my career in assisting patients and families with brain injuries. The BRAINIACS is a very special group of individuals, who are real survivors. Every single day they face inconceivable challenges testing their endurance, strength, problem solving, and/or willpower. Whether you are someone who has sustained a TBI, a caregiver, or someone who is just learning about TBI for the first time, these stories can help you understand the challenges of brain injury and the resiliency and humility of the human spirit. These individuals inspire me every day! Please feel free to share this with anyone who may be interested.
