2017 MOUNT SHASTA 4TH OF JULY RUN

Mount Shasta provides a glorious background for this event with something for everyone in the family.

5-Mile Race - Close to 1,000 runners compete over a fairly flat course with an uphill climb on the final mile. Handcrafted trophies are presented to the top three finishers in each division.

2-Mile Youth Race - This event is designed for younger runners through 18 yrs. Ribbons are presented to the top three finishers in each division. All finishers receive medals.

2-Mile Fun Walk - This is our most popular event. The walk provides fun and excitement for everyone in the family with entertainment and food along the route.

A $5 per person discount is available for families registering 4 or more participants. This discount is only available until June 30th. The discount will appear on your payment page.

Fees will increase by $5 after June 30th - and an additional $5 on race day. Please register early to avoid these fee increases and the large crowd on race day.

Refund Policy: Entry fees are non-refundable. However, if you have registered but unable to participate please contact us and we will mail your t-shirt(s).

IMPORTANT NOTE: This year packet pickup and late registration will be at the Mount Shasta Community Building at 629 Alder Street (corner of Alder and E. Ivy) - not at the National Guard Armory.

Mountain Runners Prize Drawing

Your registration automatically enters you into the drawing for some great prizes that will be awarded during the awards ceremony.

You must be present to win.

Just like in years past, someone will drive away in a new 2017 Subaru courtesy of Redding Subaru!

This year's grand prize is a 2017 Subaru Impreza.
