NATURE'S PLAYGROUND CHALLENGE

The Inaugural Nature's Playground Challenge is a Running/Walking event being held at Soldiers Field in Rochester, MN on April 22nd (Earth Day), 2017. The event consists of running either 1 Mile, 5 Kilometers (3.1 Miles) or a 10 Mile race. Participants can choose to do one, two or all three races in one day.

The event kicks off with a 1 Mile Run/Walk:

The Montessori Mile Family Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8:30am.

The Earth Day 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9:00am.

The TreeHugger 10 Mile Run will begin at 10:00am.

*Both the 5K and 10 Mile races will be professionally timed.

Feeling ambitious? How about the 'Nature's Playground Challenge' to test your Spring fitness level? Runners will take on a 5K at 9:00am and a 10 Mile race at 10:00am. The times will be combined and the top 5 female and male participants will win select prizes from our sponsors.

PACKET PICKUP

Packet pickup will be at the Rochester Montessori (5099 7th St NW, Rochester, MN 55901 / (507) 288-8725) on April 21st, 2017 from 4pm - 8pm. We will have race day packet pickup if you're unable to make it to the Rochester Montessori School, however, due to lines and race day scheduling, we strongly recommend you or your designated proxy to pick up your packet on the 21st.

Details About the Events

Nature's Playground Challenge (Let's Go Crazy Challenge) - This challenge consists of running both the 5K and the 10 Mile races (13.1 miles).

Each participant will receive a Nature's Playground Challenge T-shirt if registered by April 13, 2017. If you register after April 13, 2017, we cannot guarantee sizes.

Each participant will receive a special NPC finishers medal

Each race will be professionally timed

Each race time will accumulate to an overall finishing time after the last race

Top 5 male & female participants will receive prizes through select NPC sponsors

Individual 1 Mile, 5K, 10 Mile - Individual race sign-up is also available

Each participant will receive a NPC finisher medal

All 5K and 10 Mile participants will receive a NPC T-shirt if signed up by April 13, 2017. If you register after April 13, 2017, we cannot guarantee sizes. **T-shirts will not be provided for the 'Montessori Mile Family Fun Run,' however sizes will be available for pre-sale.**
