Raise money for Friends of Island Lake
The 'Friends of Island Lake' is a fundraising committee of the Credit Valley Conservation Foundation, a registered environmental charity.
The 'Friends' are local residents and community members dedicated to improving the current trail system at Island Lake Conservation Area. They are committed to building and supporting an active, healthy lifestyle for the Headwaters community.
Their most recent project was to connect the north trails with the south trail by way of bridges and boardwalks to create a complete loop around Island Lake including both north and south trails.
