Light Up the Streets Glo Run

Come join the Child Safety Center for our 5th annual "Light Up The Streets" 5K/1K Glo Run in downtown Searcy

Along with the 5K route we will also offer a shorter 1K route for less serious runners and families with small children.

Chip timing will be available for the serious runners or those interested in friendly competition among friends. Deck yourself out in over the top glow in the dark gear.

Prizes will be given for top runners in various age categories The route through historic Arch and Center streets will be lit up as runners make their way to the finish line.

Music and food will be waiting for you at the finish line as well as bounce house, face paintng and balloon animals for the kids! Glow in the dark gear will be available for purchase or wear your own, but be creative.

All proceeds from the race go to benefit the abused children served at the Child Safety Center. Each year the center serves over 400 child victims of sexual and physical abuse from White and surrounding counties.

Weather Policy

In case of rain the race will continue. In the event of lightening or inclement weather that would put runners at risk, the race will be cancelled. No refunds will be given as weather is out of our control and the purpose of the event is to raise money for charity. T-shirts will still be provided to all runners in the event that the race is cancelled due to weather.
