Entry fees 5K: * Age 18 and over division
$30.00 by April 1st , $35.00 by April 23rd & at pre- race day Packet Pickup event, $40.00 on the day of race.
Group entry discount ( Save $5.00 each ) groups of 3 or more registered by April 20th
Kids entry fee for 5K: $10.00 ( age 11-17 ) , FREE ( age 10-under )

Pre-Race day packet pickup & late registration: Thursday, April 26th from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm hosted by Phidippides, 6601 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie
Day of race packet pickup & registration at the race site opens at 7:00 am
CHIP TIMED EVENT: 5K Run / Walk ONLY is chip timed
Please wear your race number bib on front only. Check label on back of race number bib for your name, each number bib is pre-assigned to a specific entrant.
Awards: 5K
1st overall and 1st, 2nd Place in age groups: 10-under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-over. Race Walker Division - 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall.
Awards: 1/2 Mile Kids Run/Walk - Medallions to all youth age finishers
Toys, gift cards, etc distributed by random drawing to participants in the kids race.
Post race refreshments:
This event may perhaps have the ultimate in food and beverage of any local run/walk. Just a few of the items from lasts years race included: Pork Chops, Jambalaya, BBQ Shrimp, White Beans & Rice, Red Beans & Rice, Gumbo, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Mini Muffalettas, Ham Pistolettes, Roast Beef Pistolettes. For adults we had Beer, Margarita's, Bloody Marys, Hard Lemonade. Snowballs.
Wrist band for those age 21 and over will be distributed at event info table on the day of race. Must have wristband in order to receive any adult beverage items. No exception
For the Kids we had a DJ for Karoke, Bounce House, Lemonade, Snoballs, lots of toys and prizes and a fantastic puppet show.
