Our story…
The Hughes family stayed at Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton while their daughter, Avery was being treated for an inoperable brain tumour in 2014. They stayed for a total of 4 weeks between May and July before Avery passed away. Ronald McDonald House provided much comfort to them and extended family during their time in Hamilton. They never had to worry about where to stay or where extended family would stay when visiting. They were able to focus their time on Avery and spending as much time with her as possible.
