The 2017 Carrera Internacional de la Mujer will take place Sunday March 5, 2017 in Managua Nicaragua. We are inviting you to join us in Nicaragua to support CIMI 2017. If you cannot make it please join us remotely by Registering for the Virtual Race. You can run the 10k or walk the 5k.
Our Goal is to be able to fund free entries to women who cannot afford it. Your Virtual registration would help one girl to run the race for free. It is very difficult for runners in Nicaragua to afford a race fee.
CIMI is an initiative for women, founded by Aracely Areas. It’s been her dream to help people like her, women with dreams and hopes, to help build confidence and motivation through running. Thanks to generous supporters, friends, runners from Nicaragua, We have been able to host the event for two years.
Please help us keep the entry FREE for women in Nicaragua.
NOTE: The Virtual Race is Sunday, March 12th. If you would like to organize a virtual race on the same day in your area please contact us.
