GREAT FUTURES & BEYOND!
It's pretty simple.
1. Sign up here.
2. Get your Superhero costume ready! (There's prizes involved for the best adult & child costume)
3. Show up at The Salvation Army Kroc Center on Saturday, August 12th and run the course through beautiful Downtown Greenville.
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Greenville County, SC serves more than 500 local children and youth.
Every day The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs inspire their members. Whether encouraging young people to complete their homework, play sports or recreational activities, enter an art competition or have a healthy snack, Club staff know the important role they play in creating the wholesome environment kids need. The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs are National Affiliates of Boys & Girls Clubs of America and use the same award winning curriculum, but with the additional resources that are provided by Salvation Army programs, Officers, staff, and trained volunteers through Safe From Harm, and much more.
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club is committed to providing quality afterschool programs where educational enrichment is just the beginning. By focusing on the child as a whole and their needs, more children have great futures because of Club programs.

Please note that t-shirts cannot be guaranteed after August 1st. Walking is totally acceptable! You will be one of many who will be walking. Pets may not participate. Runners are encouraged to carpool if possible.

Event Route
The USA Track Certified Route starts and ends at The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center located at 424 Westfield St. Participants will enjoy the Swamp Rabbit Trail and views of Falls Park on the Reedy River.
FAQ
Where is packet pickup?
- Packet pickup at The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club, which is located in the Kroc Center at 424 Westfield Street, Greenville, SC, 29601. Please park in the area near the Club entrance (before the roundabout in front of A.J. Whittenberg Elementary School). You will enter through the double doors and there will be signage.
Are there age limits?
- No. Everyone can be a Superhero!
Can I walk?
Walking is totally acceptable! There will be many who are walking.
What time does the race start?
- The race starts at 8:00 am and you are encouraged to get there 60 minutes in advance to park and stretch.
Where do we park?
- Parking will be allowed at the Kroc Center and overflow lots. You are encouraged to carpool if possible.
Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help as course marshals and water station attendants. We'd love for you to be a part of the Superhero 5K!
